About RealPersonCheck

RealPersonCheck is a small independent website for people who want to check who they're dealing with online — a dating match, a buyer or seller, a new business contact — before they meet, pay or share personal details.

What we do

We don't run our own database of people and don't produce reports. Our search form sends you to CheckPeopleOnline, a people search service that builds reports from social networks, news, public records and other open sources. We explain upfront what it offers and what it costs, and we publish practical tips on spotting fake profiles and reporting scams.

How we make money

When you continue to CheckPeopleOnline and buy a report, CheckPeopleOnline may pay us a referral commission. This doesn't change the price you pay. RealPersonCheck is not owned or operated by CheckPeopleOnline.

Our rules

• We never show made-up search results or fake "records found" counters.
• We say clearly that reports are paid before you leave our site.
• We don't store the names or profile links you type into our search form.
• We don't promote searches for purposes regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, such as employment or tenant screening.
